The bar and waiting staff were friendly and provided a good service. Equally a croupier on a roulette table was unpleasant, he looked very miserable and bored throughout the evening. Generally we had felt an unpleasant atmosphere in the casino caused by the overbearing attitude of some security staff. No paying customer of any venue, or member of the public, should be subjected to such hostile and antagonist treatment. The level of aggression was shocking and disgraceful. They then shouted to all customers who were bystanders: “Get back inside or get the F**k out!” The security staff aggressively pushed/hit the male customers.
At this point we witnessed a serious loud altercation between two young male customers and about 7/8 male security staff. This occurred as we were leaving and waiting to collect our coats from the cloakroom. It started off as an enjoyable evening but ended disastrously when we experienced the extremely verbal and aggressive behaviour of the security staff. I visited last night with my partner to celebrate his birthday with family.
